Dear Pinkies,

This is only a test run system for webcam system that will eventually be installed into Pinkies world..

but for now, all members can test it out so that you will understand more about the new technology and the future of communications...

Webcam & audio live chat...

So anyone who has a webcam installed can have live audio & video chats..
and you can have many rooms or just stay at the lobby and enjoy whatever shows that we may have..
We have not tested the limits of this system as yet but as what it says we can have a few hundred members at one time in one chatroom

We shall have a proper system in time to come.. for now its just a test, so please do try it out for yourself....one day when Daniel has a show, the whole pinkies world can enjoy it thru' webcam...:party

Now below there is a link that will take you to the site as shown in the picture here and before you do that, please read further..

First thing when u are link to the site is that you must
i) Key in a Screen Name and that should be your pinkies id so that your friends can recognise you then click log in

ii) the page will refresh itself showing your new id then further down the page you can see the word webchat... you should click the word - webchat

when you are inside the chatroom, you can click on their ids to view their webcam or audio if available...

NOw once inside the webchat.. there are a few things that you can adjust for a better view of the live webcast

The brown colored arrow shows the orange-colored triangle - u drag to resize the columns to make it bigger or smaller to yr choice.
The blue colored arrow is where u activate the audio and video stream feeds of whoever you wish to view..
The red colored arrow is the re-sizing of the webcam view (-) = smaller (+) = bigger

Now the picture below is how your screen will look like when u log in..
U can view as many webcams as you want to...
OK first you have to identify who has webcams
the black arrow on the top left corner shows you where to look for those who has webcams, when you see on the OUT column the word AV it means this ID has both Audio and Video on
and next to it is call the ME column - thats where u see who is looking at YOU.

The arrow at the bottom show - if you want to lock this webcam, you click on the dock icon
Once you click it, it will appear on your A/V dock screen - as shown in the red arrow sign

Let say you wish to view ren_2001's webcam as shown in the picture above.

1. Click on the ID - ren_2001 (the red arrow)
a screen will appear below as shown in the picture..
Now if there is no picture then...(see blue arrows)
2. click on the word V for video
3. click on the word A for audio (if the word A is gray in color that means ren_2001 do not want you to hear her.

4. if you click the word - dock - the webcam will be shown in the a/v dock area that will give you more webcams to view at one time...

Just aanounce it in the fans schedules the date and time...
