Zheng Furong is a chef in a Chinese restaurant. His cooking skills are extraordinary and he is a kind-hearted man. Because his wife passed away early, he has taken on the roles of both parents to raise his three precious daughters. From managing everything in running a household, to washing and ironing his daughters’ clothes and underwear, he has done it all.

He is indeed a model father. He is comforted and happy that his daughters are all filial to him. Like all parents, Furong looks forward to the day his children find wedded bliss.

However, not a single one of his three daughters is in a stable relationship, which worries him greatly.



Furong’s three princesses differ very much in character. The eldest, Zishan is blessed with both looks and talent. She is a capable young lady working as creative director for an advertising firm. Zishan believes that love is secondary. On top of that, she is one who knows how to enjoy life, and thus is not on the lookout for a life partner. Zishan has an archenemy in the company, Herman.



They are at loggerheads with each other and are always fighting over work. Outside of work, they constantly clash as well because of differences in character. Zishan keeps up an elegant and ladylike grace at all times, except when she runs into Herman and loses her cool. Zishan bumps into an old boyfriend, and sparks of passion fly between them. After seeing him for some time, she discovers that he is a married man. Zishan confronts him, only to have him shamelessly suggest that since they are both adults, they should be able to enjoy an affair free of responsibility. His intention is to keep Zishan on the side as a lover. Zishan is furious and extremely hurt...



Second daughter, Zihui is an entertainment producer with a broadcasting station. She is sensitive and kind, and has her own unique viewpoints. It is a pity she is rather tomboyish and unladylike in her appearance. She does not know how to dress up and has average looks. Thus, she has never gone far in the relationship and love department.

She longs to be in love, and actively takes part in matchmaking programs. However, her straightforward nature and boyish dressing has scared off potential partners.



After some time, Zihui gets to know the man of her dreams, Wang Lizhe, a successful jewellery businessman.The gentlemanly Lizhe treats her with respect, as he does with all women, but Zihui mistakes it as an expression of love and concern for her as a girlfriend. This is because she has never been cared for by a man before. She even makes an exception and dresses herself up for Lizhe. When the air is cleared and Zihui discovers that she was just imagining things, she is heartbroken.

Fortunately, she has the support of a loving family and her good friend, Tom, and pulls through the difficult period. Tom, who used to crack jokes about Zihui’s appearance, begins to appreciate her after many ups and downs, and starts to fall in love with her...



The youngest daughter, Zisi, is a pretty babe who has just graduated from university. Pampered by her father and sisters since she was young, she has grown into a beautiful young lady who is always surrounded by men trying to please her. Because she has been spoilt by her family, she is undeniably stubborn and willful. She also throws tantrums now and then. Since she is blessed with good looks, a glib tongue and is also quite quick-witted, Zisi’s life in all aspects is going pretty well. Later on, Zisi falls for jewellery businessman, Wang Lizhe who reciprocates her feelings.

However, her willful and stubborn nature as well as her modernised behaviour gets on the nerves of her future mother-in-law, Ouyang Lingling. Ouyang Lingling even tries to stage certain events to make the young couple break up...



Zheng Furong cares not just for his three daughters, but also his disciples at the restaurant. During a retrenchment exercise, he offers to resign of his own free will so that his disciples can keep their jobs. However, the life of a retiree is extremely boring. With his anxiety about his daughters not being able to find good husbands, he cannot help but interfere with their personal lives sometimes. This causes some family disputes, and the straightforward Zisi falls out with her father. She even refuses to resolve the issue with him. Furong suddenly collapses and is admitted into hospital. His life may be in danger...

Will the three sisters in the Zheng family find true love? Will Zisi get the chance to reconcile with her father?

Episode 1 - Nov 27th

Fu Rong is a widower with three daughters since the demise of his wife many years ago. All along, his deepest wish is to see her daughters happily married. However, the pretty and eligible Zi Shan and Zi Si do not feel the urge to get married soon; and while Zi Hui is desperate to get married, her boyish looks and ‘tomboy’ behaviour constantly drive men away.

The eldest daughter, Zi Shan, works as a creative director of Absolute Mind advertising agency. Her rival, Herman, despises pretty women as he thinks they misuse their beauty.

The youngest daughter, Zi Si, is a fresh graduate from university, who takes her admirers for granted and treats them badly. As she is the youngest in the family, she is spoilt often by her father and Zi Hui, while Zi Shan disciplines her.

Their middle sister, Zi Hui is a television director, who has already been in 36 matchmaking programmes. If rejection from the 36th time was not enough, she gets insulted by another potential suitor in her 37th and final attempt.

Zi Hui discovers Tom’s cell phone and bumps into a huge misunderstanding while attempting to return it…

Episode 2 - 28th Nov
Zi Si interviews for a position at Zi Shan’s advertising agency without Zi Shan knowing and accidently offends Herman.

Joseph swaps Zi Shan and Herman’s jobs to minimize tension. Herman takes this chance to mock Zi Shan, saying that the swap indicates her incompetence. Zi Shan takes her revenge and their tension increases.

Li Hua wants to introduce Li Zhe to the Zheng sisters. Li Zhe is a successful entrepreneur, a truly eligible bachelor, with a boring and bland personality. Li Hua is hoping to introduce Li Zhe to Zi Shan, but is opposed by De Ding, therefore the target becomes Zi Si. Zi Si, although agrees, talks Zi Hui into going for the matchmaking. Zi Hui is coincidentally upset for missing the chance to meet a charming bachelor at the TV station, and while she attends for the dinner, she meets the heartthrob Li Zhe.

Episode 3 - 29th Nov
Zi Hui meets Li Zhe, whom she thinks is too good a man for her. Zi Hui bears no hope for Li Zhe, until she has spent a wonderful evening with Li Zhe, she falls for Li Zhe.

Herman is shooting an advertisement but his model is sick. Joseph persuades Zi Shan to be a replacement. Zi Shan assumes that it is a jewellery ad, hence she agrees. She only finds out at the shooting that it is actually a vinegar advertisement. Zi Shan feels deceived, Herman mocks her for her ignorance. Zi Shan is obligated to partake in the advertisement now as the company might bear huge damage fee for not finishing the project by their client’s deadline.

Zi Hui accompanies Li Zhe to purchase a birthday gift for her mother, Ling Ling. His mother takes this chance to persuade Li Zhe into taking Zi Hui for dinner. Assuming that Zi Hui is Ling Ling’s close friend, Li Zhe asks her out on a date. In order to impress Li Zhe, she tries on feminine outfits for the occasion

Episode 4 - 30th Nov


Zi Hui wears a dress and high heels for the date. Some friends of Li Zhe runs into them at the restaurant and mistakes Zi Hui for being Li Zhe’s girlfriend. Li Zhe immediately quells her growing excitement by denying it, making her upset.

Zi Hui falls in to the swimming pool. Tom thinks that Zi Hui is attempting suicide and rescues Zi Hui. Fu Rong calls Zi Hui, and she lies to him that she is with Li Zhe.

Zi Shan and Herman compete for a client and Zi Shan successfully wins over the project. Zi Shan forces Herman to fulfil his promise to treat her a dinner. Zi Shan orders expensive dishes, leaving the thrifty Herman frustrated.

While Zi Hui is delivering some carrots to Tom at the restaurant, she discovers that Li Zhe is there with a fair lady….


Episode 5 - 1st Dec
Zi Hui dreams of killing Li Zhe’s friends. Zi Hui then realizes that she should not overreact or her family and friends would be too worried.

Tom’s landlord owes the loan sharks huge amount of money. He fears of getting dragged into the matter and he forces Herman to let him move in with him. As this happens, a misunderstanding takes place.

Zi Si returns from travelling. She has bought plenty of things for herself, but none of them are souvenirs for her family. Zi Shan accuses her of being selfish and dragging Zi Hui into the matchmaking that broke her heart. Zi Si receives the appointment letter from Absolute Mind, but conceals the truth.

The employees at Absolute Mind are stunned by Zi Si’s appearance at her first day. Herman makes a comment that offends Zi Si. Later on, Zi Shan is shocked when she finds out the new colleague is actually Zi Si!

Whenever I see Li Zhe, I'll laugh non-stop. Tengok Zi Hui, laugh lagi.
Basically I'll be laughing throughout the whole show : :

In my opinion, there's something wrong with the matching up of the couples.
IMO, Li Zhe goes better with Zi Shan, Herman with Zi Hui and Tom with Zi Si.
Well, it's only the beginning of the drama.
Let's see how the show progress :D :D

- a widower, brought up three daughters all by himself, a very filial father
- honest, humble and caring
- a head chef of a restaurant, but to save his staff he resigned... to take care of the three daughters, he never remarried, even though there's an admirer all the while. His wish is for three of the kids to have a happy life and get married.




EUNICE NG as Zheng Zi Shan
- creative director
- eldest of Zheng's daughters
- intelligent and hardworking, looking for elegant lifestyle
- at work she's like 'tai ka jie', but in relationship she has nothing. Always fight with colleage Herman. She met her first love again, when into the relationship, she found out the guy is married, Herman saw and helped her instead of taking the chance to make her lose, and sparks happened between them after that.

WILLIAM SAN as Herman
- creative director
- Tom's brother
- very hygienic, carries some small kid attitude, don't like people to touch his things. He put everything in his office neatly, more into artwork.
- Zi Shan's colleague. He looks down on female as he thinks female can manage because of their beauty only. Has no social relationship with people in office, but very caring towards lonely friends. That's what makes Zhi Shan attracted to him in the end...




ZHANG YAO DONG as Tom

- a chef in a western outlet
- English educated, Mandarin is not fluent, joke a lot, in his bro Herman's eyes, Tom is a nobody.
- Very cincai, and slumber, don't have big dreams.
- Love Zhi Si at first sight, but Zhi Si wasn't interested. No matter how hard he tackle Zhi Si, he still failed. He climbed up with Zhi Hui's help, not only found his own career, he found his true love as well.

JESSECA as Zheng Zhi Hui

- TV entertainment program director
- Zheng's family 2nd daughter
- happy go lucky, and a caring girl
- ALthough at work she's very attractive, but in relationship wise she's a failure. is the 'ugly duckling' of the family, plus don't like to make up and tomboy character. Although she find chance by herself and go for matchmaking sessions, but always neglected by people.
- WHen face failure, on the outside she stays tough, but deep inside she always hide herself and eat cakes to release anger. Lastly she overcome her problems when helping Tom, and both fell in love.


PHYLLIS SIM as Zheng Zhi Si

ALAN YUN as Richard Wang Li Zhe

Thanks to William Sun aka Herman. He's so good in acting and he's so funny...
Yesterday he went 'Hor? Hor? Hor? Hor?' and the way he talk after he drank the hot soup... hahahahahaha! :
IMO, Li Zhe with Zhi Shan, Tom stays with Zhi Hui, and Herman with Zhi Si.

Lol . Yes this drama is very funny indeed : ) William San is the one who's making all the jokes around . So funny . Like what Sevvy said the "hor? hor? hor? hor?" is really very funny ; P And the way he looked while drinking the soup .

And todays episode when he was chewing his food . the way he look is just too funny . Kept on laughing through out the whole show .

To me i think Li Zhe with Zhi Hui , Tom with Zhi Shan and Herman with Zhi Si =))
