Is Reality TV Shows getting worst then worst, and not to forget, boring. I remember when American Idol started in 8TV, it was a big hit in Malaysia, not so long later, comes Malaysian Idol, another big hit, but after a while, it went downhill, we get boring contestants and idea every year, One in a Million is original, but it didn't hit Malaysia that much, I have a feeling that it is getting worst, boring, it is either about singing or dancing or Dreams, I wanted something practical, something good, like... American Inventor. Now, the question is:
Do you think reality TV Shows is getting worst/boring. If Yes, do you think they should take a short break and then come back with something better?

Also, did you realize Reality TV shows barely stop, especially the locals, where after one reality TV show, they bring in another, for example, After Superstar, we have Star Idol, or So you think you can Dance which probably reaches the Voting Stage by the time Superstar ends.

I for one think it is time to take a break, allow good TV shows for viewers to enjoy and not TV Shows for Viewers to spend money. Just my 2 cents.

Yes!i think reality TV shows is getting boring...
not worst but kinda boring..esp singing contest(just my point of view)..

hmm.. i will like to think, its the show programme producer thats trying to outwin each other... that is, to get viewers attention, thus the high viewership ratings.

Reality show is the in thing now. Peoples are more attracted to see those real life people, behaving 'real' in front of the TV.

And these reality show, have to depends on these 'real' people ; if they are interesting people, the show rocks. If they are not, the show just get boring.

For me,i think that reality shows in m'sia is too much. And is never continued nicely. Like m'sian idol for example,jus started for two years and it ends.

I asked Kak Dina about Msian Idol, turns out there is no more liao, comfirmed. So sad...

well, first u have to try to understand the social issues in malaysia.
I see it more like, they have to pay for the royalty for the show. It being Malaysian idol, the franchise show of the American idol. There is a lot of contracts to be done. Secondly, whenever there are those sms things, there are a group of people that are against it also.

so i guess, they decided to drop this MI thing, and goes for OIAM since OIAM is created locally, they dont have to pay huge royalty fees.

anyway, i see prefer americans reality show; American Idol, America Next top supermodel, Amazing race, Fear Factor, Bachelor what what, Punk'd...etc

there is one singapore reality show too... about cupid love something... The two host of the shows compete with each other to look for normal streets people to vie for the attention of a single male of the show. Its quite entertaining, just looking at the antics of the host.

i would prefer orignial reality show rather , malaysia..... i dun like it ....it 's worst !
